The Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency Kofi Adams says his constituency is one of the constituencies the ruling Government has neglected According to him, it will be very difficult for him to point any significant project that has been commenced and completed in the Constituency.Speaking on Happy 98.9 Morning show with Kwadwo Sefa Danquah, the Member of Parliament noted the people of Buem are yet to enjoy the Npp Government’s promises of one district one dam, Agenda 111 project, one Constituency, one million dollars, one Constituency one Ambulance, year of roads and many more.”A lot of Ministers have cut sod for the commencement of one district one factory but, it has turned into the habitat of grasscutters and antelopes, many constituencies are progressing in terms of agenda 111 projects unlike Buem Constituency, is not up to expectations, all efforts had been made to get the ambulance for our constituency but proved futile and for that matter rely on other neighbouring districts for one when needed, the roads that were started by Former President John Dramani Mahama had been abandoned making transportation difficult for the constituents”.He added that President Akufo-Addo has purposely decided to deprived the people of Buem, because the President announced in Ejisu that only he can sanction road projects in the country. Kofi Adams said the deplorable nature of roads in the Buem Constituency makes it difficult for vehicles to ply, which has negatively affected business activities, especially for farmers.
