Gory accident on Gomoa Okyereko junction claims the lives of three passengers, leaving 20 in critical condition

Two male passengers and a female have perished in a gory accident at Gomoa Okyereko Junction in the Central Region. The accident also left 20 others in critical condition.

The accident which occurred in the early hours of today, December 12, 2024, involved a Sprinter Benz bus with registration number GW 5477-24 and Hyundai Grace with registration GR 5899-22.

Kwaku Atta, who witnessed the incident, narrated that the Sprinter Driver who was heading towards Takoradi made a wrongful overtaken and crushed into the Hyundai Grace which was heading to Kasoa from Winneba.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the Winneba Trauma morgue while the 20 injured individuals are also receiving treatment at the Accident and Emergency Unit of Winneba Trauma and specialist Hospital.
