
Rev. Richmond Quarcoo, an aspirant for the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) Secretary General plans to collaborate with the Educational Institutions to ensure the Olympic movement is revived at all levels.
The goal of the movement is to contribute to building a peaceful and better world by educating youths through sports practices in accordance with Olympism and it’s values.
Speaking at the Happy FM-GTV Sports+ led GOC Manifestos Dialogue, he explained how he is going to collaborate with the schools to ensure the Olympic movement is revived, “I have a lot of experience and have grown in sports,athletics and as a coach so I believe I can collaborate with stakeholders of educational institutions to work with the ministry of sports to make this a reality”.
He is of the view that currently, the Olympics movement is dead and needs to be revived to help the children who have interest in sports.
Rev Richard Quarcoo will be vying for the position of the Secretary General with Mohammed Sahnoon come Monday 15 March 2021.
