Ghana’s Black Stars land in Tennessee for USA friendly

The Black Stars of Ghana have touched down in Nashville, Tennessee, in anticipation of their upcoming international friendly against the United States of America.

Following their 2-0 defeat to Mexico, the team departed Charlotte on Sunday and is scheduled to conduct their initial training session in Nashville on Monday.

This visit to the United States is part of their ongoing preparations for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

During their recent clash in Charlotte, the Black Stars experienced a second-half masterclass from El Tri, with Hirving Lozano and Urien Antuna contributing to Mexico’s win at the Bank of America Stadium on Sunday.

In Nashville, Ghana aims to make amends in their friendly against the United States on Tuesday.

In unfortunate news, defender Joseph Aidoo will be sidelined for the upcoming game due to an injury sustained during the match against Mexico.

However, Fatawu Hamidu is set to rejoin the squad after participating for Medeama in the Capital City Cup against DC United.
