Ghana’s Black Meteors defeated Shooting Stars 2-0 in a friendly game played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
The game is part of the team’s preparation for the upcoming Africa U-23 Cup of Nations to be staged in Egypt.
Real Oviedo striker Samuel Obeng Gyabaa scored a brace in the game to secure the win for the Black Meteors.
The Black Meteors will leave for Egypt on Monday to continue preparations as well as clamatize with the weather before their first game against Cameroon on 8 November, 2019 at the Cairo International Sports Stadium.
Ghana will play against host Egypt, Mali and Cameroon in Group A.
The Black Meteors will be hoping to secure one of the three slots to book a place in next summer Olympic Games.
