Ghanaians should stop saying Saminu can't compete in both 4*100 & 200 metres - Emmanuel Tuffour Kora

Former Ghanaian sprinter, Emmanuel Tuffour Kora says Ghanaians should stop insinuating that one athlete cannot compete in multiple events at the Olympics Games. According to him, Abdul-Rasheed Saminu who has qualified for the 200 metres can equally compete in the 400100 men’s relay event if he genuinely wants do it. He said his compatriots like USA’s Noah Lyles will be competing in 100m, 200m, 4100 and 4*400 men’s relay so Saminu has no excuse at the Olympics Games.

“Brenya lets us stop giving excuses to these players because they can compete in multiple events if they want to because others are doing it.”
“I was competing in three separate events at the Olympics Games during my time and Noah Lyles of the USA and some Jamaicans will be doing same so what’s the excuse here? he said in an interview with Happy Sports.
