Folks on social media have been going meme crazy and sharing their nostalgia using the #IconicDuo hashtag to celebrate the partnership between Nokia and Android on their new ranges of Nokia Android Smartphones. #NokiaMobileonAndroid
As usual for Ghanaians, every interesting online moment becomes a meme, just like #IconicDuo. The campaign has since culminated in many user-generated memes on social, taking followers down the memory lane. Take for example Papa Ajasco and Pa James, who for many years excited TV enthusiasts with their comic series, “Papa Ajasco and Company”. In the same vein @Lexis touched Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first President and the wife Fathia Nkrumah, with the challenge “Name a more #IconicDuo”. People surely rose up to the challenge, just checkout the hashtag for yourself.
Judging by the known quality of Nokia phones, and the love for Android operating system, Nokia may just be lucky that people who are hyping their hashtag will actually go out and get their phones. We most certainly are.

The kids of today might never know Mad Melon & Mountain Black. They drove a commercial bus to make ends meet until they were discovered by Cornerstone Music & the rest as they say, is history. This duo had Nigeria tied down back in ’03 when they dropped “Danfo Driver”. #IconicDuo pic.twitter.com/mmMHnQoger
