Ghanaian sensational musician, Dennis Nana Dwamena, known in the music circles as Kidi has disclosed that allegations that his new song ‘Enjoyment’ was stolen from Kwamz and Flava cost him King Promise’s feature on the song.
In an interview with Happy FM’s DJ Advicer, Kidi revealed: “Initially, I had someone [King Promise] on the song. But with the controversies surrounding the song, his management had to step back because they did not want their artiste to be caught up in this back and forth”.
When queried by host DJ Advicer, if he was disappointed in the management’s decision, he responded: “I wasn’t disappointed because every label looks out for the interest of their artiste. It is understandable. If it was reverse, Lynx will also look out for my interest. It was a mutual agreement”.
Kidi added that he was looking forward to more collaborations with King Promise even though he was unable to make his new song with him. “King Promise is my brother. We can make bangers on bangers any day”, he said.
Kidi is currently promoting his new single titled ‘Enjoyment’
