He indicated that, it is sad for a country which claims to be practicing politics and governance to be wallowing in abject poverty.
Speaking in an interview on Happy98.9FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’, William Amofa said, “We practice neither politics nor governnace in Ghana.”He noted that if Ghana really did, the country should have been developed with all the natural resources at our disposal.
On his authority the Covid-19 outbreak which led to the country going under a lockdown was a huge indicator that the country was in a bad shape. “The lockdown has made us realise nothing works in the nation and we are sitting under a huge problem,” he said.
William pointed out that it was really sad the country still had divisions and individuals still towed party lines which is hindering the development.
“We’ve made our politicians so called frontliners and they have started misbehaving. The problem in Ghana is the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC). And if we don’t work together as a nation we will lack development,” he mentioned.

He cautioned political leaders to be wary of the trajectory they are taking Ghana, stating that it will be a problem if the increasing number of Ghanaian youth ended up with no prospects in the near future.
