Ghana Police Service apologises to Ghanaians for traffic caused by Cadet Officers’ Graduation Ceremony

The Ghana Police Service has issued a statement to extend its apologies after being brought to notice of Course 52 Cadet Officers’ Graduation causing massive traffic on the Accra-Ofankor stretch of the N6 Highway.

The graduation ceremony which was held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the National Police Training School (NPTS), Tesano, Accra became an inconvenience to the people commuting on that stretch the Police said.

The release which was signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police and Director of Public Affairs; Grace Ansah-Akrofi extended apologies of the Inspector General Of Police (IGP) and the entire Ghana Police Service to the public.

The Police assured the public of employing better methods which will improve traffic management during similar events held by the Ghana Police Service from hereon. “We would like to assure you that we have learnt a relevant lesson and will improve our management of traffic for similar events going forward.”
