The Ghana Highways Authority (GHA) has issued a public notice regarding upcoming maintenance on the Atomic Bridge.
According to the notice, work on the expansion of the joints on the Atomic Bridge (N4) starts from today, Thursday October 3, 2024 and ends on Tuesday October 22nd 2024.
The project is set to last for 20 days, cautioning motorists of traffic interruptions.
Motorists using the route are advised to adhere to the instructions of traffic management teams positioned at the site.
“As a result, there would be traffic interruptions. Motorists are advised to adhere to the traffic management systems to be put in place by the team of engineers from our bridge Maintenance Unit of the Ghana Highway Authority as they work on the overpass”.
The statement added that, “Motorists are also advised to use alternative routes if possible. Our team of engineers will start work on Thursday the 3rd of October, 2024 and end on Tuesday, the 22nd of October 2024 from 08:00 p.m. to 06:00 a.m. daily.’’
