Ghana has drawn South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia in Group G of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Black Stars were among 26 highest African nations in the FIFA/ Coca- Cola Ranking to be excluded from the preliminary stages of the qualifiers.
The Black Stars were seeded in today’s draw among the top African countries in pot 1.
In the ceremony held today in Cairo, the Black Stars have been a tricky draw and will begin their campaign to Qatar 2022 against South Africa
The group phase starts in March 2020 and comes to an end in October 2021.
The ten group winners will be drawn into five two-legged knockout ties to be played in November 2021.
The Stars will be looking to make amends after missing out on the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
