Head of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr. Badu Sarkodie says 4 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed.
This was announced by the government at a press briefing to update citizens on the outbreak of the Novel 2019 (COVID-19) in the country.

Two of the individuals returned to the country from the United States last week.
Dr. Sarkodie also disclosed that among the two other new cases which came to light on Saturday is a student of a university who had been in contact with 12 people.
The other is resident in Obuasi in the Ashanti region.
He also revealed that the Norwegian case contact tracing shows 107 people coming into contact with him in Ghana.
He said all patients are isolated and being monitored closely.
This brings to six, the total number of cases reported in the country.
The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah also announced a total travel ban for passengers who have been to countries where over 200 cases of the virus have been confirmed.
