Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has urged Ghanaians to remain resilient and united as the nation celebrates 68 years of independence.
In a Facebook post commemorating the occasion, she reflected on Ghana’s journey, acknowledging the progress made, the challenges faced, and the triumphs achieved.
She emphasized the need for renewed dedication to national development and shared prosperity.
“Today, as we celebrate 68 years of independence, we honor the resilience, unity, and unwavering spirit of the Ghanaian people.
Our journey has been one of progress, challenges, and triumphs, but we remain steadfast in our pursuit of a better nation,” she stated.
The Vice President further called on citizens to uphold the principles of equity and opportunity, stressing the importance of collective effort in building a prosperous Ghana.
“Let this day renew our commitment to building a Ghana that thrives on equity, opportunity, and shared prosperity,” she urged.
