The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially commissioned the new state-of-the-art AstroTurf at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram.

The ceremony, which took place during the 30th Ordinary Congress, marks a significant milestone in the development of football infrastructure in Ghana. This commissioning was part of a broader agenda during the two-day congress, which featured vital discussions on the future of Ghanaian football.

The new AstroTurf, a gift from Betpawa as part of their sponsorship deal with the Ghana Premier League, represents a major upgrade to the facilities at Prampram. Constructed to meet international standards, the pitch is expected to serve as a key training ground for national teams and a venue for high-level matches and tournaments.

GFA President Kurt Okraku, who presided over the commissioning, emphasized the importance of the new facility in his address to the delegates and stakeholders present. “This new AstroTurf is not just a field; it is a testament to our commitment to raising the standard of football in Ghana. It symbolizes our partnership with Betpawa and our shared vision for a brighter future for Ghanaian football,” Okraku stated
