Eugene Nobel Noel, a member of the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council, has lauded President Kurt E.S Okraku as a visionary leader.

In an exclusive interview with Happy Sports during the Association’s Ordinary Session of Congress, Noel emphasized the significant strides made under Okraku’s leadership, highlighting the ongoing transformation of the FA.

He pointed to the ambitious development projects underway at Prampram, which include a Futsal Arena, a Swimming pool, a Gymnasium, a 40-bed hotel facility for the national team, and most recently, a state-of-the-art AstroTurf pitch.

“Kurt Okraku is a visionary leader who understands what’s best for the FA,” Noel stated. “Since he took over, there has been a massive improvement and transformation in our football and at the FA.”

In addition to these infrastructure developments, President Okraku has also introduced several initiatives aimed at safeguarding the integrity of Ghanaian football and investing in its future. These measures include a renewed commitment to youth development, with plans to invest more resources in youth programs and introduce new U-19 player requirements.

The FA’s focus on youth development is a crucial step in building a strong foundation for the future of football in Ghana. By nurturing young talents and providing them with structured pathways to professional leagues, the GFA aims to ensure the continued success of Ghanaian football on both domestic and international stages.
