Samuel Anim Addo, faced a surprising loss in his Division One league Executive Committee (ExCo) position, while Mark Addo, the Association’s Vice, managed to retain his seat. In the Ghana Football Association’s Elective Congress held today in Tamale, in the Division One results, Mark Addo secured 32 votes, solidifying his ExCo position, with Gideon Fosu closely behind at 29 votes and Eugene Nobel with 28 votes, making it a closely contested race for Division One league representation.
The final three elected to represent Division One League clubs are Mark Addo, Gideon Ofosu, and Eugen Noble.

What added to the astonishment was the disappointing performance of Samuel Anim Addo, a recognized figure in Ghanaian football, receiving only 13 votes, a shocking underperformance. Alexander Ababio secured 15 votes, placing him in the middle of the pack.

Earlier, GFA president Kurt Okraku retained his seat as President of the federation after receiving 97.1% of votes, with only two people voting against his retention.
