GFA Decides: I want to make colt’s football great again- Ralph Gyambrah

Aspirant for Brong Ahafo Region Football Association chairman, Ralph Gyambrah says his vision is to revive colt’s football and make it great again in the region.

According to Ralph, grassroots football has been managened poorly in the region and he want to lead the campaign to revive it.

Speaking in an interview on Anopa Bosuo Sports on Happy FM, he said, “I have been in football for 20 years and had helped a lot in developing and discovering new talents. You will be sad if you see how football is poorly managed in the Region that’s why I want to lead to improve the game”.

He added that, the Regional Football Association is poorly structured as there hasn’t been any elective congress to select leaders to run football in the region and the past administration failed to develop the capacity of the staff and players.

“Over the years the RFA has failed to develop the capacity of the people and registration of players. As I speak there’s no recognized district association in the region. They’ve never had an election to elect them into offices but when it’s time for congress, surprisingly you’ll see people holding such positions.

Concerning his campaign he said, “Grounds are very solid and my campaign is going on well as I put across my message to the delegates. Officially there’s no communication from the GFA Normalisation Committee postponing our elections because of the death of the queen mother of the Sunyani Traditional area”

“I won’t be surprised if the Normalisation committee postponed the elections because I already made a submission to the Normalisation committee to allow the elections take place in a different town because the Brang Ahafo region is a big one”, he concluded.
