Aspirant for Brong Ahafo Region Football Association chairman, Charles Osei Antoh says his vision is to change the state of football in the region.
According to him there have been many attempts by some people to tarnish his image in the region but that will not distract his ambitions of contesting for a position in the region.
“We Africans are always good at criticizing but when the need arises for us to work, we won’t. I don’t want to sit and be lamenting but rather get involved and change football in the Region for the better. I have a track record that speaks for itself”, he said on Anopa Bosuo Sports on Happy FM.
Charles also indicated that there hasn’t been any communication from the FA concerning the postponement of the election due to the burial of the late Queen Mother of the Sunyani traditional area which will be held on the same day.
“The paramount queen mother of sunyani traditional will be buried on 18th of this month but the Normalisation committee hasn’t informed us of any postponement due to the funeral so we are still campaigning for the elections.. There is no official communication to us the aspirants”
Charles believes its time all the clubs get involved in the decision making process to curb the cheating and mismanagement issues facing the region
“It’s time for us to all get involved in the decision making of game because the cheating and mismanagement is getting out of hand. Clubs knows I am a truthful and honest person so I will develop the game”
“If the leadership is very strong, getting sponsorship for game won’t be difficult to help clubs financially, he added.
