It looks like the current social media beef between the communications director of Charter House, George Quaye and Praye music group will not end now.
Eugene Baah, known in showbiz as ‘Choirmaster’ and a member of the award winning hiplife group, Praye , has sent a reply to the Communications Director of Charter House, after he asked them to stop ranting on social media and put that energy into writing more quality songs which will probably get them a nomination in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) next year.
Choirmaster during a phone interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM’s ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ show said “I noticed that Aboagye has posted on his Facebook wall that our music is noisy but what I want him to know is that we won KORA awards before VGMA so Praye is not a small boy team that you can just say our music is noisy. Masa you you are not a musician, you are a comedian. We all knew you as an actor in the taxi driver series .
Aboakye is an actor. If we are to talk about a person who knows music, I beg, you are not part at all. All you need is just to concentrate on being your PRO for your chatter house,”he stated.
Half of the rejuvenated Music group, also advised Chatter House to stop disrespecting artistes.
“I beg Charter House should stop taking advantage of artistes and stop lying to them. They should stop disrespecting artistes because it is the same artistes that you use for your programs. If it is possible they should rename it Chatter House Music Awards and stop calling it Ghana Music Awards,”he added.
