Incumbent Vice President of the Ghana Athletics Association (GAA), Charles Osei-Asibey, has expressed his confidence as he discussed his bid for re-election in the upcoming GAA elections.
With the electoral congress just around the corner, Osei-Asibey’s unwavering confidence and commitment to the sport have taken center stage.
Osei-Asibey, who has held the position of Vice President for the GAA for the past two years, shared insights into his initiatives aimed at the convergence of education and sports.
He highlighted the ‘EduSports’ program, an innovative approach that seeks to blend education with athletics. “An initiative I am currently engaged in termed ‘EduSports,’ that is, Education through Sports, so there is a whole lot to do,” Osei-Asibey stated.
This initiative reflects his dedication not only to the development of athletics but also to the holistic growth of athletes.
Having been an integral part of the GAA for the past two years, Osei-Asibey’s presence and contributions are well recognized within the athletic community. The GAA’s electoral congress is scheduled to convene on Thursday, August 10, in the bustling city of Techiman situated in the Bono region.
