Fred Pappoe: I'm Capable Of Succeeding Kwesi Nyantakyi

Former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and a director of Accra Great Olympics Fred Pappoe believes he is qualified to succeed Kwesi Nyantekyi as president of the FA when his tenure comes to an end in 2019.
He remained coy over his ambitions for the GFA top seat and noted that being capable alone was not going to win the elections but rather a matter of who the electorates want to run the country’s governing body.
“It’s not a matter of you being capable, it is a matter of the electorates saying they want you because you can’t just get up and go and sit in that seat.
”In terms of being capable, I’m sure there are a lot of people who are capable but I don’t think I’m incapable.
“Like many other people who are capable, I think I’m also one of them but at the end of the day it’s not a matter of capabilities but what the electorates want which matters,” he added.
