Former Bechem United attacker Hafiz Konkoni showcased his goal-scoring ability once again as he secured a triumphant victory for his new club, Young Africans.

In just his second game for the Tanzanian team, Konkoni delivered a standout performance that powered his club to the next round of the competition.

Young Africans took on Djibouti side ASAS in the opening round of the CAF Champions League, and Konkoni’s impact was undeniable.

His expertly executed goal not only contributed to the team’s 5-1 victory but also marked his seamless integration into the squad.

This remarkable achievement follows Konkoni’s debut goal for Young Africans in their league opener.

The talented attacker wasted no time in making his mark on the team, demonstrating his ability to adapt to new environments and deliver results when it matters most.

He joined the Tanzanian side from Bechem United this year having signed two-year deal.

He was outstanding in the 2022-23 campaign after netting 15 goals in 29 matches, which earned him an invitation to the Ghana national team ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar in June.

Konkoni has been a mainstay in the Ghana Premier League since joining Bechem, scoring 34 goals in 97 appearances across four seasons.
