Majority leader in Parliament and member of Parliament for the Effutu Constituency, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has stressed on the need for the political class to recommit to the national agenda that not only leverages the potential of the youth but also unlocks their massive development potentials.

According to him, the recent Gen Z activism in Kenya serves as a stark warning and to prevent such scenarios in Ghana, it is imperative that the political class collaboratively take proactive and comprehensive measures to address the underlying causes of public discontent.
Commenting on the statement presented by the leader, former minority leader and member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu expresses dissatisfaction in the fast-growing dictatorship and imposition by government on the citizenry.

He emphasized the need for legislators to appropriately represent the people of their constituencies while doing away with political partisanship in order to prevent happenings
in Kenya from reaching the shores of Ghana.
