Five (5) out of the six (6) presidential candidates of the upcoming GFA elections have confirmed their readiness to participate in a debate organized by the Normalisation Committee (NC) of the Ghana Football Association, in partnership with Ghana’s number one station Happy FM, and the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC).
The five (5) candidates are Amanda Clinton, Fred Pappoe, Kurt E.S. Okraku, Nana Yaw Amponsah, and George Ankomah Mensah.
These five candidates would be expected answer questions that seek to elicit solutions-based responses.
The debate scheduled to take place on Monday October 21 at the Physicians and Surgeons Centre in Accra at 6:30 p.m., will be a live radio and television activity for the candidates and this will be carried live on Happy FM 98.9 FM and its affiliate media platforms ( e.TV Ghana, Online and Social Media).
The GFA presidential debate will focus on the candidates’ various plans and policies priorities— particularly reforms, on key areas affecting the development of Ghana football.
Yaw Ampofo Ankrah host of ‘Sports World’ on YFM will coordinate events on the night as with Ohene Bampoe Brenya, the newly elected Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG)Executive Committee member, and host of the Award winning ‘Anopa Busuo’ a sports breakfast show on Happy FM. The other two moderators are Carl Tuffuor of GBC and Nana Aba Anamoah of GHOne Television.
The Normalization Committee has expressed their appreciation for the five candidates who have availed themselves to be part of these novelty initiative.

Programmes Manager of Happy FM Mr. Emmanuel Akrumah expressed his excitement about the initiative.
