Fire has gutted several shops on Zongo Lane, Makola near Rawlings Park destroying hundreds of thousand cedis worth of stock.
According to reports, the fire began at a small shop, quickly engulfing other shops, and sending thick black smoke billowing into the air.
Thankfully firefighters responded swiftly to tackle the fire.
Following a prolonged and intense effort, they eventually succeeded in bringing the fire under control.
As the smoke cleared, the full extent of the devastation became evident. Several shops were completely destroyed, with clothing, electronics, and other goods reduced to rubble.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, as the Ghana National Fire Service continues to investigate.
