The president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has described the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta as the a phenomena asset to the nation when it comes to the management of the economy.
The president said when you are inside a deep hole with such a phenomena gentleman in the helm of affairs, you will see light at the end, the president said in his second State of the Nation Address (SONA) to Parliament as part of Constitutional demand of the 1992 Constitution.
According to the president, the finance minister understands economics and its rudiments in the management of the economy.
He claimed it is not for anything that the Blomberg is touting Ghana as one of the fastest growing economies.
He said the finance minister has been able to grow the economy from 3.5 percent growth to 7.9 percent.
He said the Vice president and the finance minister have worked tirelessly to achieve this feat in the management of the economy.
