The female hockey team of Ghana has presented its final squad for their Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The list numbering 23 before camping had to be slashed to 18 to meet the standards for the tourney. The ladies were mainly from Sapholda league champions GRA.
The likes of Elizabeth Opoku, Nafisatu Umaru and Racheal Bamfo made the list while Abigail Boye, Faustina Aggrey missed out. Coach Emmanuel Alhajie and his able technical team named a strong side with the aim of winning gold and grabbing the only slot to next years world cup in London.

The team is set to leave Accra on Monday October 16 and start their campaign on the 22nd.
