FDA issues warning against body part modification products

Expired Rice Distribution: FDA certified said rice as wholesome: Education Ministry

The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) Ghana have expressed their disapproving views on the rampant sale and patronage of body modification products in Ghanaian markets.

FDA Ghana in their latest post on X, quoted an earlier made post, as a reply to what was described as a tip to the regulatory body on the sale of these body modification products.

FDA Ghana failed not to appreciate the tweep’s efforts and clearly stated that the FDA is working around the clock, conducting investigations and other initiatives to bring the peddlers to justice.

FDA Ghana added that no body modification products have been approved or been issued clearance to go on the Ghanaian market. The regulatory body hereby advises all citizens of Ghana to refrain from purchasing and using these products. “We emphasize that the FDA has not approved any product for body part enlargement. The public should refrain from purchasing this and any similar product.”
