
Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency Executives of the National Democratic Congress have publicly declared their support for the appointment of Engineer Dr. Robert Lartey as Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Gas Company.
This comes amidst opposition to the President’s decision to appoint him to the position.
During a press conference held in Axim on Monday, February 17, the Constituency Secretary, Gideon Ansah-Mensah, stated that they view Dr. Lartey as a highly suitable candidate for the role.
He cited Dr. Lartey’s extensive service with Ghana Gas since its inception, noting that his experience and expertise make him the ideal choice to lead the company.
He explained that, after thorough consultations, they believe Dr. Lartey is the most qualified and deserving candidate. They expressed confidence in his ability to build on the foundation he has contributed to over the years, steering the company toward greater success.
They emphasized that Dr. Lartey’s years of dedicated service have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of Ghana Gas’s operations, challenges, and opportunities.
According to the executives, his leadership will be instrumental in driving the company to new heights.
