Member of the Board of Trustees for the National Cathedral, Rev Dr. Joyce Aryee, has assured the interest of Ghanaians and readiness to donate to the construction of the project will soon increase.
According to her, the behavior of Ghanaians towards the project is something familiar and built in the country’s culture.
She posited that most Ghanaians are being hesitant to contribute to the construction of the National Cathedral because they have not seen the project shoot up.
In a conversation with the Happy Morning Show’s Samuel Eshun, Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee said, “we say we are building God’s temple but citizens have not seen the building shooting up. But the very moment Ghanaians see the building shooting up, they will be more enthusiastic about it and start contributing more towards the construction of the National Cathedral.”
With the National Cathedral being the first of its kind of project in Ghana, she agrees there will be some hesitancy but is confident that will develop into support soon.
She is confident God will turn things around and aid the board to raise funds to meet timelines for the cathedral’s completion. “The same God who fed 5,000 people with 5 loaves and bread and 2 fishes will do it again.”
