The President of AshantiGold Sporting Club, Dr Kwaku Frimpong has appointed his son Emmanuel Frimpong as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer, Happy Sports can confirm.
Emmanuel Frimpong takes over from Ghana Football Association Executive Council member Frederick Acheampong who resign from the role last month.
Emmanuel Frimpong confirmed his appointment in an interview with Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy Sports on Happy 98.8FM.
“Yes I have been appointed as the club’s Chief Executive Director. I have a lot of experience in the game because I have been working behind the scenes”.
Frimpong is expected to name a management committee to aid him in the administration of the club.
Former CEO of Division One side B.A. United Roy Arthur will serve as the Sporting Director of the club.
Communications Manager, Daniel Bioh has been maintained in this newly formed Management team but with added responsibility as the club’s Secretary.
Gibrine Musa will be the Operations Director of the club and Seth Boakye Agyemang as the Administrative Manager of the club.
