Elmina Sharks coach Yaw Acheampong blamed his team’s defeat in match day eight of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League game against Legon Cities to poor officiating
Sharks lost the game by a lone goal at the Accra Sports Stadium following a late penalty decision awarded to Legon Cities.
Jabila Abdul Karim scored from the penalty spot to secure Legon Cities second win of the season.
Yaw Acheampong at the post match conference was furious on the referee’s decision to award the home side the penalty which led to their defeat and had to walk
out of the press conference mid-way.
“When the league started we were all expected free and fair officiating. I am not happy about the officiating in today’s game”.
