Eleven Wonders supporters hold referee Atiapa hostage after defeat to Inter Allies

Supporters of Eleven Wonders held officiating officials hostage for close to 30 minutes after the whistle was blown in their 3-0 defeat to Inter Allies in match day eight of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

Inter Allies defeated Techiman Eleven Wonders at home which led to the fans agitating and complaining about poor officiating.

In a video sighted by Happy Sports, the coach had to be escorted out of the field by heavily guarded Police officers after the game.

Referee Alphonso Atiapa together with his assistants John Nyavor, Isaac Asante and Desmond Abbey were transported out of the venue well-guarded by the Police.
