The running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh(NAPO) has urged the constituents of Asante Akyem North to re-elect the NPP to continue its good policies and progress. Addressing the crowd at the NPP campaign launch in Asante Akyem North, Ashanti Region, on Tuesday, August 20, NAPO emphasized the significance of the December polls in shaping Ghana’s future.

He highlighted the NPP government’s comprehensive policy agenda, designed to drive growth and development. In contrast, he criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for lacking a clear vision, citing their past record of hardship, including “dumsor,” cancellation of teacher and nursing trainee allowances, and more.

NAPO noted that an NDC government, led by John Mahama, would only serve a four-year term without accountability, whereas an NPP government, led by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, would be accountable after four years and seek re-election.

He urged the people of Asante Akyem North to prioritize their future progress and vote for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.
