
The Presiding Officer for D/A Basic A Polling station in the Ningo Prampram Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Jake Lawson has revealed that the voting process delayed for one hour due to technical faults of one of the BVD Machines.
According to him, the voting begun exactly 7:00 am in a smooth manner but at a point they had an issue with one of the BVD machines which delayed the voting process for one hour.
However, through the intervention of their technician, the machine was able to function again and everything is going on smoothly.
He stated that, a total 545 registered voters are expected to cast their votes and as at 11:05, only 96 had voted
He added that the turnout at the polling station is very low but expecting the number to increase by late afternoon.
