A key member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) election team, Kwame Awuah Darko has described the 2024 elections in the Ashanti Region as having a ‘good start’ following the timely commencement of voting.

Speaking after casting his ballot as the first voter at the Juaben Post Office polling station, Mr. Darko said, “I was the first person to vote at the Juaben post office; it’s a good start, but we all have to pay attention to what happens within the course of the day.”

He further indicated that voting in constituencies across the region began on time and has so far been smooth.

Mr. Darko also shared plans to monitor various polling stations in the constituency to ensure the process remains orderly until voting concludes at 5:00 PM.
