Presidential Candidate of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as “Osofo Kyiri Abosom” may end up laughing at the wrong side of his mouth when results are declared.
The pastor turned politician who earlier today expressed joy in the election process and stated that he has confidence in emerging as the ultimate victor in the presidential polls, currently seems to have secured a number of votes but still not more than the number of rejected ballots in some constituencies.
In the Ayawaso North constituency for instance, there was a total of 50 rejected ballots and 7votes for GUM at all seven polling stations.
As a first timer, his votes may be enough to motivate him to contest again in the next four years but seemingly not enough to win him the presidential seat unless of course, a miracle comes through soon.
Ghanaians however, are still in wait for the shock that the self-motivated candidate promised to give to his political opponents in the elections.
