Ejura shooting: Is Shatta Wale a confused citizen?

Shatta Wale

Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, seems to be confused and undecided on his stance on the discussions surrounding the military’s action against the angry youth at Ejura who were protesting against the murder of ‘Fix The Country’ protester, Ibrahim ‘Kaaka’ Mohammed.

The artiste, earlier this morning, made several posts across his social media platforms from Facebook to Twitter, bashing concerned citizens who have joined in the #FixTheCountry and #JusticeForKaaka campaigns and protests..

His posts read, “Educated fools and disappointmented graduates saying #Fixthecountry
Fix yourself cheap thinkers”.
“As for Ghana dierr the problem is us the youth ..we can’t stand up and fight for our right ..Nonesense ..Everyday typing online …Massa that no go solve anything ooo ,Rise and fight and stop writing this nonesense Essays !! Mek I tink”
“Do you think Ghana can be like abroad tomorrow ,Chale by the time this country gets fixed maybe we all no dis earth so love and live your life now ..Don’t behave like a soldier ..You didn’t come to the world for this ,BECAREFUL!”

After several bashing comments, the clearly confused singer came back to post another tweet trying to side with the protesters. “Rip to the Ejura victims. Is this what we want to see before they can fix the country.. So sad”, his post read.

He also posted another tweet charging people to stop the campaigns and protests because he does not want to see the country ending up in a war. He also accused the ‘Fix The Country’ pioneer of warmongering.

“You are there watching bullets enter people’s children and you still screaming fix the country. Let’s stop this it won’t end well. I don’t want no war!!!”
“It’s not fix the country. It’s #Youcandobetter to encourage them to be rapid in their doings. Whoever start this fix ting dierrrr, why you want bring war. Cuz Twitter people can fight on the streets ooo We all suffering my guy!! Ghana no easy but let’s respect the peace Folded hands”.

While some are of the view that Shatta Wale is being paid to put out such outrageous comments, others are also convinced that he was probably high on drugs and now trying to side with victims and protesters after coming back to his senses.
