Education takes top position of concern for Ghanaians -NCCE report

A report from the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has identified education as the leading concern for Ghanaians. The survey was conducted across all 275 constituencies in Ghana, under the Matters of Concern research, a periodic study conducted by the NCCE ahead of every election year.

NCCE Chairperson, Kathleen Addy noted that these research findings are highly important and influence campaigns of political parties and make deliberations with the electorate more issues-based.

Findings from the Commission’s research department indicate that education is the primary concern for Ghanaians nationwide.

Data from NCCE’s Matters of Concern (MoC) research indicates that Education is top concern of Ghanaians

Education, listed as the first among the top six concerns, is followed by employment, health, roads and infrastructure, the economy, and agriculture.

The report follows ongoing campaigns by political parties to improve education in Ghana and introduce programs aimed at empowering the country’s youth.
