e.TV Ghana’s Ernells Katernor wins big at Samsung Media Challenge

Host of eTech on e.TV Ghana, Ernells Katernor, has emerged as the winner of the Samsung Galaxy Flip/Fold Media Challenge.

The eTech host won the newly unpacked Galaxy Z Fold3 5G.

The challenge was open to all journalists, bloggers, content creators and social media influencers to express their passionate views, videos and opinions on the newly unpacked Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Z Flip3 5G as well as Galaxy Watch devices. They were challenged to publish at least 2 stories or video content that captures the magic of these ground-breaking devices.

Speaking during the prize presentation, Head of Marketing at Samsung Ghana, Tracy Kyei said, “The competition is aimed at creating an avenue where participants can express their passionate views on these amazing new devices and win awesome prizes along the way. Samsung is committed to supporting local content creators and the media by providing the platform to enable them to do more. The Galaxy Challenge gives the media and content creators the opportunity to ignite their creativity and express their talent.”

On his part, Ernells Katernor expressed his appreciation to Samsung Ghana for the opportunity to allow him to participate in this year’s challenge. “I didn’t know I will win the ultimate prize because this is my first entry and I was contesting with other journalists who have done this 3 and 4 times in a row. It take a lot of dedication to win this challenge because you just don’t have to write, you need go the extra mile because the winners are determined on six thematic areas including: Accuracy, Clarity, Eco-System Integration, Device Usability, Consumer Benefit and the overall Content Appeal.”

The Media Challenge recorded 16 participants sending their entry stories. Number of story entries were 46.

The total media hits for the Media Challenge were 56. The published stories were on TV, Print, Social Media and Online.
