Ace sports administrator and lawyer, Moses Foh-Amoaning has urged Black Stars head coach Avram Grant to drop Razak Brimah to the bench in Ghana’s semi-final clash against Cameroon following his vituperation on Ghanaians for criticising him.
Foh-Amoaning, an ex-broadcaster , told Happy FM that the coach must be bold to drop Razak Brimah if he really wants Ghanaians to support the team full-heartedly.
Razak Brimah posted a video on Facebook where he hurled invectives and vituperations at Ghanaian football fans for criticising him and the ex Ghana Boxing Authority boss holds that even after dropping him for the Cameroon game, further punitive measures should be meted out to him after the Africa Cup of Nations.
“I believe that as an immediate measure, Razak Brimah must be dropped in our game against Cameroon so that at least Ghanaians will feel that some kind of punishment has been meted out to him for insulting them. After the tournament, a more punitive measure could be taken against him.”
Mr. Foh Amoaning also quizzed if the the management of the Black Stars and the sports ministry were performing their duties judiciously.
“I always ask myself if we have brought up these boys well. In the Commission of Inquiry report, we suggested that the Black Stars player sign a code of conduct when they come to camp and the players said they wanted to show the document to their lawyers first and we don’t know whether they have started or not.” Foh Amoaning told Happy FM.
