Dreams FC’s head coach, Karim Zito, is aiming high for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season, with a bold objective of securing victories in their initial five matches.
The Still Believe club is set to kick off their league campaign at their home ground against the newcomers, Nations FC, this Wednesday.
This opening fixture follows a postponement last weekend due to their participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Dreams FC currently holds a 2-1 lead in the first leg against Sierra Leone’s FC Kallon, promising a strong start to their continental campaign.
In an interview on Happy FM’s Wamputu Sports ahead of the league clash with Nations FC, Zito outlined the team’s ambitious aspirations.
“We’ve set a target to win our first five games in the league this season,” he confidently stated.
“Our plan is to transform the Theatre of Dreams into an impregnable fortress, where no opposing team will depart with even a single point.”
Dreams FC is scheduled to face Kallon FC in two weeks for the reverse fixture of their CAF Confederation Cup playoff.
