The All People’s Congress today, Wednesday, September 4, 2024, officially unveiled Dr. Samuel Walanyo Mensah as the running mate to founder and flagbearer, Dr. Hassan Ayariga.

The Ghana National Teachers Association of Teachers (GNAT) hall hosted a number of APC officials, chiefs and youth supporters to witness the official announcement of Dr. Walanyo-Mensah as the running mate of the ACP flagbearer.

Guest of Honor, Dr. Hassan Ayariga prior to the unveiling revealed that his running mate gave away his aspirations of presidential candidacy and joined the APC to join in upholding a greater cause.

He added that Dr. Walanyo-Mensah joined two other flagbearers that yielded to the mission of ‘all-inclusive-governance’ propounded by the APC.

Dr. Worlanyo Mensah expressed gratitude to the flagbearer of the APC, for selecting him and pledged to uphold his mandate with discipline and the necessary expertise to give the APC victory and propel Ghana in the right direction. “First and foremost I express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Hassan Ayariga as his trusted partner in his journey; I am thrilled to join forces with a leader who shares my passion for social justice, economic development and national unity. Dr. Hassan Ayariga embodies the qualities we need in a president with his unique blend of expertise, passion, inclusivity; he is a unifying force, a bridge builder and a beacon of hope to a brighter future of Ghana.”

The ACP’s running mate called on political movement leaders and founders of small political parties to join in the alliance for what he described as the ‘greater good’. He believes that the individual efforts of small political parties will be of a greater benefit under the ticket of the ACP. “I am convinced that this alliance is the right step towards building a brighter future for all Ghanaians. To my fellow independent candidates and leaders of small political parties, we need to consider the greater good. Let us unite to form a formidable force that can bring real change to our mother land Ghana.”
