Dr. Bawumia names members of election 2024 manifesto committee: Osei Kyei-Mensah Bonsu leads

Flagbearer for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudud Bawumia has named the members of his manifesto committee for the 2024 general elections.

The committee is to be chaired by Osei Kyei-Mensah Bonsu, MP for Suame constitunecy and former Majority Leader.

Other notable members include Asamoah Gyan, ex- Ghanaian professional footballer who chairs the sub-committe for Youth and Sports and Juliet Asante, a renowned filmmaker.

The committee will be responsible for reviewing the party’s previous manifestos and developing a new one for the 2024 elections. The manifesto will focus on addressing the “legitimate concerns and socio-economic challenges of Ghanaians”.

The Manifesto Committee is further charged to discharge their mandate efficiently and professionally to produce a comprehensive manifesto document that can stand the test of time to address the legitimate concerns and socio-economic challenges of Ghanaians.
