Leader of the National Interest Movement and a prominent member of the Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC), Dr. Abu Sakara Foster has urged Ghanaians to consider a viable alternative in the upcoming December elections.
He emphasized that not all alternatives are credible and advised the electorate to make a rational choice.
In an interview with Kwadwo Safah-Danquah on the Happy Morning Show, Dr. Sakara highlighted the current state of Ghana’s development, economic crisis, and political stagnation and called on Ghanaians to seek a credible candidate capable of initiating reforms and resetting the nation’s trajectory.
He argued that the duopoly of the major political parties has led to stagnation, failing to provide the necessary responsiveness needed for progress.
Dr. Sakara pointed out that key economic indicators, such as unemployment, interest rates, and the exchange rate, are all worsening. He criticized the tendency of political parties to claim stability only during election periods, urging the public to consider a third-party alternative to counterbalance the current trend.
He commended the Alliance for Revolutionary Change for uniting various movements, parties, and ambitions under the ARC to support Alan Kyeremanteng.
According to Dr. Sakara, this collaboration reflects their commitment to national progress and the emergence of a third political front that could bring balance and sanity to the current system.
Finally, he challenged Ghanaians to decide whether they will be loyal to the nation’s interests or remain blindly loyal to their political parties, urging them to choose a path that prioritizes the country’s future.
