Disregard false publication claiming I have been reinstated - Disqualified Sunyani West parliamentary aspirant

Bernard Oduro Takyi, a disqualified aspirant in the NPP’s ongoing parliamentary primaries vetting has reacted to news circulating that he has been reinstated.

The aspirant was disqualified by the party’s Bono regional vetting committee and appealed to the party’s national appeals body for redress. An earlier release purported to have been written by him stated that he had been reinstated to contest for the primaries after the vetting today; 18th March 2020.

However, the aspirant has issued a rejoinder challenging the authenticity of the earlier release and stressed that he has no knowledge of the claims made in the release and has not been reinstated as stated in the release.

Rejoinder

For Immediate Release.

18th March 2020.

National Parliamentary Appeals Committee Reinstates Bernard Oduro Takyi to Contest for Sunyani West Primaries.

My attention has been drawn to a false, malicious and clandestine publication that seem to suggest that the National Paliamentary Appeals Committee of the New Patriotic Party that is hearing all Appeals petition on disqualified aspirants effective 18th March 2020 has  unanimously reinstated my good self.

Let me for the records state that:

1. I have never and ever caused my anybody to issue such a false and propaganda driven press statement.

2. I myself have never authored any malicious statement of that nature

3. I am compliant and have absolute regard for due process that is why I have submitted myself to the rules and regulations governing the Parliamentary primaries on seeking redress.

4. My campaign team has a Manager named Hon. Ernest Osei Kwaku who remains the author of all publication from my outfit

5. Why should the publication be sent only to the National Parliamentary Appeals Committee if it is not ill intended?

6. I remain faithful in the Appeals process and no amount of malicious propaganda will divert my focus

Thank you
