The AGM, which took place on October 11 at the Civil Servant’s Auditorium in Accra, featured an optimistic message from Togbe Afede XIV, the Bankroller of Hearts of Oak Sporting Club. This message came at a crucial juncture as the club faces a challenging start to the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Acheampong highlighted the positive atmosphere at the AGM, stating, “The questions which were asked and the answers from Togbe were all satisfying. Togbe Afede’s reaffirmation that the team would bounce back in the face of adversity resonated with the supporters. This message of hope and determination has ignited optimism among fans both within and outside Ghana. Hearts of Oak is now working to regain its former glory in the league and fulfill the expectations of its dedicated fanbase.
The AGM served as a platform for supporters to engage with the leadership of the club, and it appears that the positive outlook expressed by Togbe Afede has reinvigorated Hearts of Oak’s global fan community, inspiring confidence in the club’s future prospects.
