Former Commissioner of Police and current Director of Media and Security for the Frimpong Manso Institute, David Nenyi Ampah-Benin has expressed his satisfaction upon learning that the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has conceded defeat in the ongoing elections.

Mr. Ampah-Benin, who was at the National Collation Center to observe results, believes that Dr. Bawumia’s decision is a step in the right direction for the country.

In an exclusive interview with Happyghana.com, he congratulated Mr. John Dramani Mahama on his electoral success.

He called on Ghanaians to unite behind Mahama as the nation looks forward to a new chapter in governance. According to Ampah-Benin, the collective support of the populace will be crucial to ensuring a smooth and effective administration in the days ahead.
