The Ghana Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) has unanimously approved Daniel Augustus Lartey Junior, a financial Consultant as the flagbearer of the party at its national delegates conference held in Accra.
Speaking after his declaration, Daniel Augustus Lartey Jnr promised to drive the GCPP to victory with people centered policies for transformation on Technology and Agriculture which is the major backbone to economic development.
He said the party’s fundamental pillars to winning the December general elections is not only centered on agriculture and technology but other key driving sectors
Highlighting the technological development his party envisions, on technology, he said, “Our policies will support the growth of tech startups, promote digital literacy, and create opportunities for our youth to thrive in the knowledge economy.
“By leveraging technology, we will improve healthcare , enhance educational outcomes and create jobs that will propel our nation into a prosperous future,”
According to Daniel Augustus Lartey Jnr, “Our goal is to make Ghana self-sufficient in food production and a leading exporter of agricultural products across Africa and the world.
“This will undoubtedly be the cornerstone and catalyst to graduate and youth unemployment,”
The party also elected national executives who will represent the party’s hierarchy. They are; Henry Herbert Lartey, Chairman, Theodore Buatsi, First Vice-Chairperson, Cynthia Atta, Second Vice-Chairperson, Ato Dadzie, General Secretary, and George Amoah, National Organiser. Nora Gyempeh is National Women Organiser, Jude Balma, National Youth Organiser, Kaiser Ablorh, National Treasurer, and Alhassan Issahaku National Education Secretary.
